2010 - Day 204
Unfortunately, I had to work on Saturday, so I missed the third annual Mike Holtz golf tournament. It turns out there was a lot of rain and the golf course was closed. Amber and Erin kept our teams drinking spirit alive though and sent me photographic evidence. Looks like this years drinking trophy was another success!

2010 - Day 203
Today was Rebecca's birthday party. We braved the heat for a wonderful night on the town. We started with Ethiopian food at Queen of Sheba. Then we sang karaoke in Union Square. Followed up by a taxi ride in the pouring rain and some dancing in Williamsburg. Rebecca made some excellent choices.

2010 - Day 202
I was no longer in Aspen today. I spent the day at work and then came home and watched Cruel Intentions and ate take out with Jay and Amanda. My family used their week lift passes to get to the top of Aspen Mountain once more and while there, Nicki sent me this photo of a quote I saw up there. I thought this quote was oddly placed but interesting.

2010 - Day 200
My mom made fun of me for taking food pictures in Aspen. However, we did eat some really incredible things, so I couldn't resist completely. Here is a picture from Asie which was an Asian Fusion place. We had some great pork belly or as mom called it pork fat and here is a picture of it.

2010 - Day 189
I went with Mitchell and Sara to meet up with some of their friends at the Boat Basin to watch the final World Cup game. Once it went into overtime I got a little bored and had to play a game to keep interested. I'm happy for Spain (even if I was cheering for Holland.) Also this picture turned out great, they are so photogenic the newlyweds.

2010 - Day 188
Even though it was only a 4 day week it still seemed really long. So I spent my Friday evening laying in bed and reading. I finished a book and started, The Art of Choosing. Which is an interesting book written by a professor from Columbia about how choices make our lives better. It is pretty interesting and even had a passage from Adrift at the beginning, which is something we read for book club.

2010 - Day 184
Fourth of July continued. There were amazing red, white and blue pies for dessert at the barbecue. I had some of the cherry and it was delicious. So much so that it is more exciting than anything happened today. Where I spent my day off enjoying the a/c in my apartment and watching movies with Karen.

2010 - Day 180
Our kickball league has found a new bar as our after game hang out. It is on Rivington and Orchard and called The Doghouse Saloon. As you can tell from all the empty cups, we had a good time. In fact, we drank the bar out of draught beer. When I told my mom this, she thought it was outrageous. I told her that there were like at least 200 people there it wasn't just me and a friend. ;)

2010 - Day 178
Marc and Angela's amazing weekend in New York had to come to an end sometime, and obviously they are greatly missed in New York. They said that they would be at the Dram Shop in Brooklyn for happy hour. I showed up to find about 30 people there to greet them. Angela said, that Monday must be the new Friday. Seeing as how it was the last day of school, I also ran into a few teachers that I knew, who were quite happy to be done for the summer.
