2010 - Day 288

Nicki, Dana and I planned to get breakfast at Mickey's Dinner by the stadium. However, it is closed on Mondays apparently. Such a bummer. Instead we ended up at a dinner on the East Side of town that Nicki had been to with her roommates in the past. It was delicious.

2010 - Day 287

I LOVE Wisconsin. Especially when it means eating a brat and watching football with Dana on a Sunday afternoon. After we finished watching the Pack lose again in overtime we headed to the Union. It was a little too cold for beer outdoors though so we moved it into the Rathskeller and watched more football.

2010 - Day 286

In one word - Amazing. Quite frankly after all the possibilities of how Dad and I could and did lose our tickets, the fact that we walked into the stadium with them is a miracle. Then the Badgers scored a touchdown on the opening kickoff and the rest is history. I love that you can't even see the field in this picture. Go Badgers!

2010 - Day 285

Friday I got home from work and chilled with my roommate before we went to bed about 9:15 PM. All this because I was getting up at 4 AM to head to Wisconsin for an amazing weekend. So the cheese curds aren't from Friday, technically, but they were delicious. We got them at the Old Fashion which is an amazing Madison eatery.

2010 - Day 284

Our kickball game was rained out, so I came home first and then meet some of my team. I wasn't going to get caught in the rain a second time so I borrowed Amanda's rain boots that matched perfectly with my skirt.

2010 - Day 283

I took this picture because it seemed like there was an accident, but then the guy in the truck was smoking. It turned out it was only an electrical truck, but in the rain it seemed much more important.

2010 - Day 282

We rescheduled Monday night dinner for Monday Night Football. So instead we had dinner tonight. I was craving stove top. So I made the chili beef recipe on the back of the cornbread stove top box. It was really good and satisfied my stove top craving.
