Scott and Dana were not huge fans of having their pictures taken, but Dana said that I would be able to take their picture by the bull. So here we are next to the bull while walking around downtown.

Scott had a list of restaurants that he wanted to try in New York. I had been to a lot of the places and agreed that it was a good list. The brunch option that he had was Clinton Street Baking Company. I had been there once before, but don't go very often because the wait is always FOREVER. We did in fact have a two hour wait, but we used the time to walk around Chinatown and Little Italy. I got the huevos rancheros and Scott got the blueberry pancakes and we switched them halfway through. That certainly made it worth the wait.

Scott and Dana came up to New York to visit for the weekend. We went to West Side Story tonight. It was an excellent show and I really enjoyed it. A little more sexual and more Spanish than the movie and of course all of the music was incredible. I still can't buy the fact that people could become SO in love in one night, but I guess that is why it is a story! After the show we headed for some cheesecake and a beer.

2010 - Day 147In my tiny apartment a problem that happens constantly is broken dishes. It just can't be helped when everything is constantly balanced precariously on some surface in our apartment. Regardless, Fishs Eddy in Union Square is my saving grace. You can buy glassware for 99 cents. So we once again have wine glasses that match each other. I am really excited to buy excessive dishes from here sometime in the future. For example a really awesome milk jug or bowls specifically for french onion soup. I can't wait.

2010 - Day 146Here is the view from Frying Pan, a great bar that is on a boat right above Chelsea's Pier. As you can see from this "artistic" photo, the boat does actually move and it was dusk. I had been to Frying Pan once before a little less than two years ago for a birthday party. Since then it seems to have gotten a bit trendier and was sorta packed. It still has views you can't beat and is a nice place to grab a drink and some garlic fries.

2010 - Day 145
It is that time of year where everything has to be completed before you can get into the summer projects you've been meaning to do. So I have been desperately trying to get to the bottom of my desk for about a week. Clearly, not a fun task. So it was incredible when Clare walked in with a box of See's chocolate for a break today. Mmm.
