Day 128 - May 7, 2008I want to send a package, so I was double checking about where the post office is, which got me thinking about the post office. It is actually a really interesting thing, with a great history. Unfortunately with e-mail and paperless bills etc. it appears that it will never return to its former glory. Better for the environment, but still it is kinda sad. It is really exciting though to learn about how it helped form this country. Did you know that the Post Master General used to be in the succession line to the Presidency? Getting a package is also really exciting! This is a picture that was on Wikipedia of a postal box that looks like R2D2.
