Day 248 - September 6, 2008This picture is from the HBO show The Wire. I was told that I would love this show from one of my friends and they were absolutely right. I am just about to finish the 4th season and I thought I'd mention the show. It is about the inter workings of Baltimore. It manly concentrates on the "War on Drugs" and the reasons that it hasn't been very effective. Each season concentrates on a different area of city life and the fourth season is about schools and education. I think the show is incredibly real, and even though it is telling the most extreme stories it is still fascinating to see a story from every point of view. I would certainly recommend it.
