Day 115 - April 24, 2008To be honest today, was not a very good day at all. The internet isn't working at work or at home for two completely different reasons and as I sit here at the tea lounge I am trying a little too hard to find a reason to be upbeat. I have been feeling a little lonely in the big city. However, as I sit her in this cafe, of the twenty people here only two of them are together. I think that this Georgia O'Keeffe quote sums it up pretty well though, "One can't paint New York as it is, but rather as it is felt." The city does wear on me, but for the most part it feels pretty good. As my mother advises, it is much better to find a reason to smile than to find one to be upset, and that is advice that should certainly be taken.
